Erin Marie Panttaja is a Bay Area playwright. Preapocalyptica has had several readings and was a semifinalist for the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center’s National Playwright’s Conference in 2016, for BETC Generations in 2017, and a finalist for the Earth Matters On Stage New Play Festival in 2018. Her 10-minute plays Rossum’s Robot Truckers, A Different Way To Tell Him I Love You, And Yet, and Factory Girls appeared in PlayGround, and the short versions of Preapocalyptica and Factory Girls were in Best of Playground in 2015 and 2018. Her short play Tawawert was part of SF Olympians in October 2017. She is a PlayGround Resident Playwright for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 seasons, won the 2018 June Anne Baker Award, and received the 2017 TITAN award from Theatre Bay Area. Erin is a member of the Dramatists Guild.
